Event Description:
Join Melodee Reigel and Matt Turner for a guided hike with yoga led by Melodee and guided meditation led by Matt.
Beautiful Parkville Nature Sanctuary is a great place to come and enjoy a few hours of hiking, yoga and meditation. We will pause at places along the trails to take in moments of yoga and meditation. Nature is a powerful healer. If you have never been here you are in for a beautiful experience.
The purpose of this adventure is to cultivate a connection with nature, opening up to the possibilities of healing within its beautiful landscape. The yoga and meditation portions will help facilitate this process. Join us in healing, connection and adventure!
We will meet at the picnic table area/grass area. The parking lot is shared with the college so if parking is full their is an upper lot you can park in that belongs to another business but they will be closed.
Beginners are welcome but must be able to handle walking on a trail with uneven spots. The trail is fully capable for a beginner.
Children who are able to practice yoga, meditate and/or remain quiet during the meditation and hike are welcome to attend. If you plan to bring a child please private message Melodee Reigel Hornbostel.
Cost is a suggested donation of $20 to $30 the day of the event and a portion goes to the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. The beautiful trails are maintained by volunteers and we truly appreciated this place of beauty they make accessible to us.

Bring a yoga mat, water and whatever else you feel you need for this event. The hike is approximately 2 miles and 2 to 2.5 hours. There are early out options available.
