Mythical Odyssey: The 2018 Dinner of Note theme benefitting The Heartland Men’s Chorus

Kansas City, MO – 2018 Dinner of Note will be held September 22 at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland. This year marks this event’s 23rd year and helps raise funds to support the chorus’ mission and community outreach efforts. Mythical Odyssey, this year’s epic theme, will dazzle guests as it brings many favorite characters from classic Greek mythology to life. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, the immortal Gods of Mt. Olympus, along with the skill and aerial artistry of KC Aerial Arts and local opera singers, will bring the evening to its ultimate odyssey. Guests will begin the evening toasting ambrosia cocktails, bidding on unique auction items and mingling socially amongst Greek muses, satyrs, and other fantasy surprises. The main theatre will be adorned with divine immortals as guests enjoy wine service and a gourmet dinner prepared by Brancatos. The evening progresses into a fantasy world of ancient Greece and finishes with dancing in the depths of the Underworld. The entire Dinner of Note event ascends to new heights this year and sets a fresh course for an odyssey adventure reflecting the continued passion and innovation of the Heartland Men’s Chorus organization.
